Orca Capital GmbH is an independent proprietary trader managed by the owners. All the money we invest is our own. Without exception, Orca Capital GmbH carries out trading activities that are free of license requirements.

The company’s headquarters is in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm (between Munich and Ingolstadt). Orca Capital GmbH was founded in October 2008 and since then has seen continuous and organic growth. A branch office was opened in Berlin in May 2022.

The purpose of Orca Capital is to trade in financial instruments for the company’s own account. Orca Capital GmbH is active at all the world’s important stock exchange venues.

The employees’ in-depth knowledge of market mechanisms, combined with their many years in stock exchange trading and the use of future-oriented technology, ensures the success of Orca Capital GmbH.

The existing trading infrastructure is continuously developed in the course of operations and adapted to the changing market conditions.

A further asset is the international network. Orca Capital GmbH maintains excellent contacts to banks and brokers all over the world.

It is a principle that our traders can trade in what they want. Any trading idea with promise is welcome, whether it involves bonds, equities, pork bellies or frozen fruit juice. Although our trading activities focused on arbitrage in the early years, our traders now

pursue a range of very different trading approaches such as swing trading, momentum trading, news trading, turnaround trading and block trading. In addition to this, they apply charts and fundamental strategies.

Our traders are supported in their work by our employees in settlement. Our middle office and IT departments work closely with the traders to ensure that trades are settled in time and to continuously improve set – ups and infrastructure.
